I Love The Rain

I don't actually love the rain. Whenever it rains, the rain leaks through my sunroof.

This post is about a song named I Love The Rain. It is by a band named Real Tuesday Weld. I fell in the love with the song after I heard for the hundreds time on the Cherry Coke commerical. So I bought the song from mp3sale.ru.

So Sick

Everyone seems to think Ne-Yo's new song So Sick seems to be the best thing since slice bread. My sister and cousin love the song. I have heard radio play it twice in a row. In my book, its alright but it ain't that good.

MJ is free

I was surprised when findig out the Michael Jackson was not guilty on all charges but I am glad. I am a fan and I hope he gets back in the studio. A friend said he should release a CD where he is cussing everyone out. That would not be bad.

Thoughts as I was watching the Grammy's

Opening act was better than last years . . . Queen Latifah got bigger . . . Alicia Keys looks like she is in pain while she was performing . . . Price was the least deserving for the Male R& B Performance. It should have gone to Anthony Hamilton . . . Hey, Bill Clinton got a Grammy. Didn't Hilary win one last year also? . . . Jerry Lee Lewis still alive. Did not know that . . . Is U2's performance gonna end? . . . How can Marc Anthony end up with Jennifer Lopez? That means there is hope for me yet . . . Southern Rock performers are on. Lets check out what's on the on the other channels. Hey I thought Family Guy was canceled . . . Kanye did not do anything stupid when he did not win Best New Artist. Last year 50 Cent rushed on stage . . . Kanye's and Usher's performances were good but Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez had the best performance of the night.

My radio.blog

I have been wanting to add a radio.blog for a long time but I was hesitant because it did not look like it windows media player or real audio, I thought it would only work for those people that had some special software. But it seems like it uses flash and most everybody has that. It is also embedded in an iframe so it won't slow down the loading of my blog. Enjoy.

R Kelly told to avoid Michael Jackson

R Kelly will be allowed to go to the Grammy's but he must stay away from Michael Jackson, according to judges orders. Why? Why does it matter who R Kelly has business with? Will they terrorize the country if they get together? Perhaps they will talk about the judge behind his back. This is so stupid.

No Longer ruled by country music

As long as I could remember, the highest rated station in Baltimore has been the area's only country station. But the new arbitron reports show that it has fallen to second and the new king of Baltimore is the local rap station. One thing I don't understand is why DC has 3 stations that play mostly hip-hop and Baltimore has only 1. Last time I checked, Baltimore's population was bigger than DC's.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson
I really deeply hope this allegations against Michael are false. Michael is my favorite musician of all time. But saying all that, why send 70 police officers? This allegation looks series and they have already issued an arrest warrant. But one thing I don't understand is why parents keep leaving their kids with him, unless they are out to falsely accuse him. According to the news articles Michael is surrounded by staff 24-hours a day in case of these kind of accusations. Man, Michael I hope you are innocent.

Eminem a racist?: This is real hard to believe. According to The Source he made a song 10 years ago using the N word and also talking negatively about black woman. The source has a small audio clip available. It does sound like him but who knows.

Jay-Z over G-Unit: The Black Album arrives at number 1 selling 463,000 in its first week. This is Jay-Hova's 6th number #1 album. G-Unit's debut Beg for Mercy drops not at the number 2 position but at third moving 377,000 copies of their album. Second place went to Tupac's Resurrection with 430,000 copies sold. This is his eighth album released since his death.

AMA follow up

The show was not bad. It was much better than the Radio Music Awards. Outkast by far had the best performance. I think this is the third time I have seen Andre 3000 performing his song in the last 2 weeks. First on SNL, then on the Jay Leno Show this past Friday. I love that song, "Hey Ya". That is the freshest, dopest joint on the airways. But anyways here is the result to my winners predictions. I made two different kind of predictions, who I would give it to and who I thought would win. For the one's I would have given it to, only 5 out of 14 won (I did not miss any from the Rap/Hip Hop category.) I did a little bit better with who I thought would actually win it: 7 out of 14.
