Nelly - Sweat

With the exception of the first two singles, this album is filled with material a producer could have come up with 5 minutes. Suit was so much better than Sweat but even though, two albums from Nelly was not necessary. The two albums were essentially the same. He should have taken the good stuff from Suit and the good from Sweat and released one album. How about this:

  1. Flap Your Wings
  2. Play It Off (Feat. Pharrell Williams)
  3. My Place (Feat. Jaheim)
  4. Paradise
  5. Woodgrain And Leather Wit A Hole
  6. Over And Over (Feat. Tim McGraw)
  7. Nobody Knows (Feat. Anthony Hamilton)
  8. American Dream (Feat. St Lunatics)
  9. Tilt Ya Head Back (Feat. Christina Aguilera)
  10. River Don't Runnn (Feat. Murphy Lee & Stephen Marley)

Now right there, that would have been one hot album. Even thought I wasn't feeling Nelly, his albums were much better than most albums released this year. The thing is the year is almost over but in the next two months there are a lot of top artists releasing CDs: Eminem, Fabolous, Gwen Stefani, Trick Daddy, R Kelly & Jay-Z, Ja Rule, Twista, TI, U2, Destiny’s Child, Chingy, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg. Since these albums are being released late in the year, they will be considered albums of 2005. The best of album of 2004 belongs to either Usher, Jay-Z or Kanye. If you ask me, Kanye gets the nod.
