With a lot of top artists releasing CDs last week, I did not
expect Jay-Z to be the
top seller. I thought Britney Spears would remain at number 1 after moving over 600,000 copies last week but her sales dropped 59%. Jay-Z's
The Black Album sold 260,000 units this week and that pushes its total to over a million. Nelly's
Da Derrty Versions debuted at number 12 selling 144,000 and Missy Elliott was right behind him, whose
This Is Not a Test moved 143,600. Next week, Alica Keys new album,
The Diary of Alicia Keys, should be the top seller.
