Who is the Orioles MVP so far?

Sidney Ponson chose an excellent time to pitch his best game of the year. He pitched a complete game shutout against the Angles last night. Had the Orioles lost, it would have meant being swept as well as falling back to .500. Even more important was the break Ponson gave the bullpen; on Friday, Ainsworth only last 1 1/3 innings and on Saturday, DuBose lasted only 3 2/3 innings. With no games scheduled for today, the bullpen will be getting the much deserved rest.

Ponson is the ace on the team and so far this year he has not done very well. The Orioles most valuable player so far might just be Rodrigo Lopez. He has pitched 27 1/3 innings and has only allowed 1 earned run. He has finally been awarded for his performance and now has been put in the rotation. He will start against the Mariners this Thursday. But how about Melvin Mora? He leads the majors with his .368 batting average and is second in runs (34). He leads the Orioles in HR(7), OBP (.500), and SLG (.594). Tejada is the leader of the pack. He leads the team with RBI(30) and nobody else's homeruns have been more meaningful. Roberts leads the team with 16 SB and might have locked up his position at second. BJ Ryan is perhaps the best left-handed relief pitcher in the game.

My vote goes to Mora. Who do you think has been the Orioles MVP so far? :
