(Hollywood Reporter) - Flex Alexander will play Michael Jackson in an upcoming VH1 biopic about the embattled pop star.Posted by yirga at May 3, 2004 02:18 AMAlexander, star of the UPN sitcom “One on One,” will be joined by Eugene Clark (“Reversible Errors”), who will play Jackson’s bodyguard and confidant. An accomplished dancer, Alexander’s fleet feet helped land the actor the role.
Tentatively titled “Family Values,” the film is expected to trace Jackson’s life from his Motown heyday to his legal woes. In addition to VH1, the film also will air on Canadian channels the Movie Network and Movie Central.
