Ravens 2005 Season Opener
The Ravens will open up their season tonight and I can't possibly be more excited. They are opening up against the team most people believe is the best in the AFC and that is the Indianapolis Colts. We have added Samari Rolle to our backfield and Derrick Mason to our receiving core. Are the Ravens better then last year? The jury is still out on that question but the only way to find out is to see how they perform. Tonight 8:30 on ESPN. GO RAVENS.

Man where have I been
I have been doing a whole bunch of crap that I haven't had time to blog. It will probably be a few weeks more before I return to my normal blogging routine. Ok, I have got to go.

MJ is free
I was surprised when findig out the Michael Jackson was not guilty on all charges but I am glad. I am a fan and I hope he gets back in the studio. A friend said he should release a CD where he is cussing everyone out. That would not be bad.

Just found out
I just found out today that Baltimore's 102.7 FM station has changed formats. They used to be 102.7 WQSR playing oldies music. Now it is Jack-FM playing all sorts of music from all sorts of styles and decades. Odd as it may seem, I used to listen to WQSR when I was in high school (when they were on 105.7). Woke up with Rouse and Co almost every morning. I hope Rouse returns somewhere in Baltimore. I still catch Tom Davis on his Orioles/Ravens tv show on WB54 every Sunday morning.

Ravens release Boulware
The Ravens have released one of their best players in their history today. He is the Ravens all time sack leader (66.5). He also holds the record for the most sacks in one season (15 in 2001). (... more Ravens records ...)

Saved Searches
The new thing with all the search engines nowadays is saved searches. I believe Amazon (A9.com) came up with it first about a year ago. Now google and yahoo are doing it. It can be nice to have your searches saved. I just don't want pages to start loading slower. Google recently started putting screenshots of websites next to the search results. There is also all the google ads that are generated depending on what I am searching. On top of all that, they are going to try to save everything I click on.

NBC back in the NFL
In 2006, Sunday Night Football will be moving from ESPN to NBC (hurrah) and Monday Night Football will be moving to ESPN (damn). Why don't they just leave MNF where it is? And they are talking about putting some games on NFL Network? Oh Hell NO!

I know I am gonna get mugged
It seems like everyday I pick up the university paper, I hear about somebody getting robbed. Even though there are a lot more cops than before on campus, crime still increasing. I know I am next cause I am always out and about after midnight and that is when the creeps come out.
